NathanGreen, Ph.D

I am an Associate Professor at Marymount University in the School of Technology and Innovation. I was previously an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Westfield State University. I completed my PhD in 2013 from Charles University in Prague. My time in Prague was spent as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher in NLP and Machine Learning. I was funded through the CLARA (Common Language Resources and their Applications) EU project.

My undergraduate degree was completed at NCSU in 2003. I completed my masters degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University in Washington DC while working for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2006. Before attending Charles University in Prague, I spent a year in Iceland on a Fulbright Fellowship and continued my research at NCSU. My research interests are in HCI, XR Technology, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, specifically dealing with under-resourced languages and corpus construction.
